We are going to give you some tips to complement your printed advertisement and take it to the digital world for free.
It’s not necessary to compete with something that you can use at your favor. With Digital era, several possibilities appeared that can give life to your printed advertisement.
Let’s see some choices.
1 - You can register in Tuugo, add information on Your Business Profile, and complete it with all your Products and Services. Then you can put that link on your Advertisement.
2 - Along with your Advertisement, you can place a QR Code. With this, a person can scan the code with the smartphone or tablet, and obtain more information about your business directly and instantly.
But, what is a QR code anyway?
It’s a system that allows to gather information, similar to a last generation barcode. With the help of a smartphone or tablet (and an app) we can retrieve this information just by pointing the camera towards the QR code.
If you want to create one, you can try it here: http://goqr.me/
The usage of the code is very wide, you can place photos, videos, text, links to social networks and more. Relies on your creativity to know how to take advantage of it.
3 - You can create a website (there are a lot of sites in which you can create one yourself), and place the link on the advertisement. In the website you can expand the information, and with the e-commerce sell your products or services.
4 - And you can do all of them together
Definitely, printed advertisement can be much more effective if it is complemented with digital advertisement, and nowadays there are no problems to achieve it.
Do you know any other alternatives to complement printed advertisement? If you do know, share them! It will be helpful for other users.

- Starting an Online Business?Пятница, 10 Январь 2014
.jpg)
Internet has revolutionized the way we live our lives and enabled an environment in which anyone can go up against the big companies. But how easy can it be to start an online business?
Let´s consider some more about this issue.
First, we must identify the most common motivations that contribute to starting this kind of business.
-
Improve finances
-
Take own decisions
-
Not depend on a boss
-
Flexible hours
-
Work from home
It is possible to bring all these motivations together and start a business that can result in a lot of profit. According to GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Μonitor), there is a global (it varies according to the region) 72.5% of success in this kind of entrepreneurship. But there is a situation.
There is a wrong idea of what it means to be an entrepreneur. Among myths and misunderstandings, it is: “I want to start an online business because I have been told that it is very easy and it takes no effort at all” or “I´ve heard that I have to invest very little money and do nothing or hardly anything”.
Taking those ideas as ¨correct¨ is the main reason why most entrepreneurs give up less than one year after they have started their own business.
The important thing to know is: in order to start an online business that can make one, two, three or ten thousand dollars a month, having a good motivation is not enough. An entrepreneur must have discipline, must be willing to make a big effort, spend some free-time hours in the business, learn continuously, innovate, be creative, search for alternatives even with few resources and, for most cases, must be willing to invest.
Did you know? The word business: in old English bisignes (Northumbrian) "care, anxiety, occupation," from bisig "careful, anxious, busy, occupied, diligent" . Middle English sense of "state of being much occupied or engaged" (mid-14c.) is obsolete, replaced by busyness. In 1849, was the first attested in Thoreau, from busy (adj.) + -ness. A modern formation made necessary after business evolved away from busy. Is it worth it all the effort? It is up to you. But be sure of one thing, for all kinds of business: Tuugo will be there to announce it!

- New Year: origin and datesВторник, 31 Декабрь 2013
New Year is a special event that we always celebrate. But what is its history? Is it only celebrated in January?

Celebrating the end of an era and wishing welfare for the new one are part of a tradition that is present in almost every culture.
On records, the first New Year celebration happened in a civilization in Babylon around the year 2000 b.C. They celebrated the end of winter and the beginning of spring, that meant for them a season full of challenges because in this season they planted their crops for the rest of the year. It was celebrated in the first days of March, as they followed a seasonal calendar.
Why January 1st?
January 1st started in the year 47 b.C. when the Roman Senate declared that the new year would start on that day. This was made in order to correct the calendar, that was not matching the sun calendar anymore (Julian calendar)
Also, it had a change in meaning because before the era of the Roman Empire, civilizations based their dates on agriculture and seasons. However, in the Roman Empire, January 1st meant the day the elected consuls would take on their positions, that was when this date started having a civil meaning.
Different datesAlong with different cultures and beliefs there are also different calendars and different dates to celebrate New Year.
